J. Smith & Sons will be trialling a high speed version of its "Hydrapede"©  called "Hydraspede"©  next month.

The trailer will be an improvement on the low speed incline pit haul version. "Hydraspede"© will provide additional power trailer drive assistance capable of a 70km top speed, for long flat haul road work in the coal industry.

The trailer uses an 18 speed industry standard gearbox. Further specifications and performance details will be released once trials are complete.
